FOOD III | ICE CRÊPES

Vive la Crêpe! has developed a great number of recipes in partnership with local artisan vendors, such as Van Leeuwen ice cream. The resulting combinations are mouth-watering classics of the highest quality; some of our signature ice crêpes include vanilla, cinnamon, and a seasonal selection of gelati. more»

ARCHITECTURE II

BENCH The design of the stores’ benches is based on the reutilization of the back part of recovered chairs, which are mounted over a solid block of the material used for kitchen cutting-boards. 

With the use of a computer numerical control (CNC) machine, the sitting element of each individual chair was carved out of the solid, continuous, base creating an iconic bench for our brand.

LAMPS The lamps are made of a composition of industrial blender heads in reference to the preparation of the crêpe mix.

WAITER STATION  Drawing on the carved-out vs. solid idea used in the design of the benches, we created a line that is a contemporary reinterpretation of classical French furniture. more»

ARCHITECTURE IV | PRODUCT DESIGN

Inspired by the gallons of organic milk that our stores consume every day, our product line for Vive la Crêpe! is a reinterpretation of the a traditional milk carton. We have developed a series of ceramic products that artfully serve multiple purposes; as straws and napkins holders or decorative tiles for the restaurant’s walls, the milk carton has become an iconic branding concept in our crêperies.

ARCHITECTURE I 

Just like our crêpe mix, our restaurants are designed with simple, but high-quality components. In order to achieve a warm atmosphere in our restaurants, the walls have been covered in recycled wood from grain containers that have been exposed to the elements acquiring a natural patina. The wood sheets have been engraved with a computer numerical control (CNC) machine, creating a unique pattern and texture, and a consistent look, for all our restaurants. 

For the food preparation area, a French feel is introduced through the use of the tiles that cover the Paris Métro. more»

BRANDING I

True to our green beliefs, our crêpes are served and packaged in a recycled-carton cone; this earth-friendly element also offers a convenient eat-in or to-go option. With 60% of our customers ordering their crêpes to-go, the design of our packages becomes a critical element of our branding strategy.

Our selection of savory crêpes include an endless variety of combinations like Gruyere and ham; tomato, mozzarella and basil; egg, goat cheese and spinach; and even smoked salmon and cream cheese. more»

ARCHITECTURE  III | KIOSKS

 Vive la Crêpe! was born as a kiosk in Mexico in 1996. Our 120 sq ft kiosks are fully dismountable and are designed to be assembled and completely operational in 72 hours. Our kiosk units are highly sustainable and require only water and electricity to operate. They don’t use gas or require venting equipment and do not produce any grease or fumes which allows our operation to be clean and of low impact. more»

 Vive La Crêpe! is proud to serve gourmet coffee. We strongly believe that authentic coffee is the perfect complement to our menu and essential to reinforcing the environment typical of a Parisian café. Vive La Crêpe! enjoys a strategic alliance with Illy, an Italian brand that is not only recognized for its high quality brews, but whose European origins pair up with the café atmosphere.

Our brand has been designated Artisti del Gusto (Artists of Taste) by Illy, for the unsurpassed quality, mastery of technique, and passion in the preparation and presentation of authentic Italian espresso. 

In addition, and keeping in mind that our costumers enjoy ordering their crêpes to-go, we offer a selection of beverages that would be found in the streets of Paris: Perrier, Orangina, Evian.
